This story focused on a 15 year old girl named Johnnie Wise. Johnnie' s a good girl, who loves to go to church and school, at least that's who she was until her mother ruins her life. On Christmas Eve, Johnnie's mother, Martha, sold her daughter's body to the insurance man Earl Sherman for money and food, and never once asked her how she felt. After this day Johnnie life would be ruined forever. When she went to school she was picked on, being called trash like her mother and many other rude names. Over time Johnnie believed these names and started to fall into her mother footsteps sleeping with men for money.
